During the month of September, Spectrum Science celebrated our second annual Pet-Tember, a month-long celebration of our furry friends who bring us joy and love every day.

All month long, we collected pictures and fun facts about Spectrumites’ dogs, cats, birds, turtles and more. At the end of the month, we had a virtual pet parade where pictures were shared during a call and owners were able to share a little bit about them.

Pet-Tember was not only a time to spotlight our employee’s animals, but our Corporate Social Responsibility committee used the opportunity to raise money and awareness for various animal welfare organizations across the country.

Collectively, we raised over $800 for Canine Companions, Pets for Patriots, Treehouse Humane Society and Cavalier Rescue Midwest. We also shared several ways that employees can give their time, money and resources to shelters in their local community through volunteering, donations and other unique ideas.
